Job Description The role of Sales Director is critically important to us. You will be responsible for the leadership of our Telematics team in Ireland, responsible for prospecting, selling, and onboarding new customers. Focusing on all Telematics products from GPS Tracking, Asset Tracking, Dash Cameras, ELD and other related solutions.
Initially the role will be hands on, with day-to-day leadership of the team, developing marketing strategies and taking an entrepreneurial approach to the growth of our Irish business.
The successful candidate will be empowered to take key decisions relating to strategy, people, product proposition and the full marketing funnel.
Your daily responsibilities will be...
Budget level responsibility for the Desk-based telematics sales teams within Ireland.
Create and define the marketing strategy to drive valid, relevant and convertible opportunities
Management of the Inbound Lead generation marketing budget
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and learning and development cycle across all operational business levels
Conduct Annual salary review program for all FTE
Work cross-departmentally to refine and improve the customer journey
Regularly review management information to identify and action areas of improvement against the department budget
Utilise the business CRM tools and create plans that truly impact Key business performance indicators
Report back to leadership regularly on department successes and challenges
Succession plan by improving those around while searching for best-in-class talent to join the team
Coordinate, consolidate and sign-off monthly commission submissions for the department
Engage your team on KPI’s that impact the wider group such as cross-sell
Utilise and improve the effectiveness of Salesforce CRM within the operation
Qualifications
Experience in a senior Sales B2B Management role of 5 years +
Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office packages and business CRM platforms such as Salesforce
Able to demonstrate a 'common sense' approach to problem solving in the sales environment
Manage own workload effectively and support your managers
Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision/non-decision makers
Strong team building skills and an ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Enthusiastic self-starter, driven by the intent to succeed and achieve company goals
Strong communication skills and ability to engage a large workforce with creative new ideas
Be able to work under own initiative with commercial acumen and resilience
