Job Overview:

The role of a marketing coordinator in Water Leaf Management is one that requires agility, creativity, excellent communication skills and proactiveness among other things.

The job requires the candidate to have exceptional communication skills, multi-task marketing plans and campaigns, understand online and offline marketing strategies and have an analytical mindset. Understanding the business and creating marketing tools and materials in accordance with business needs is the crux of this role.

Job description and Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

· Ideate and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase sales and average ticket price across all stores

· Drive marketing and sales projects from conception to completion, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all platforms.

· Plan and execute periodic and calendarized marketing promotions and events to reach out to customers, community etc. to increase sales and brand awareness promptly

· Partner with the local community and neighbouring stores for cross-promotion and leverage them as part of our marketing strategies

· Plan, design and schedule content for social media regularly.

· Be prompt in responding to and addressing all community events around the stores and be proactive in establishing a relationship with the community and market the brand

· Must be able to capitalize on neighborhood events and leverage them to promote the brand through creative marketing campaigns

· Collaborate with store managers and the Operations Manager in customizing branding initiatives according to the demographics of the store locations

· Must respond to emails and phone calls regularly unprompted without slips in deadlines

· Monitor and report on marketing metrics and the success of campaigns, adjusting as needed to improve results.

· Build and update the company's website in a timely manner and ensure all necessary information is presented

· Handle the setup, management, and optimization of the company's Google My Business, Apple Maps, and Bing listings to ensure maximum visibility.

· Regularly update business details, photos, hours of operation, and promotions on all platforms to maintain accuracy and relevance.

· Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Google.

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

· All other marketing and sales related activities as required

· Monitor competitors and their strategy and provide inputs to the management and come up with counter measures as required.

· Other Marketing and Sales activities as required by the company

Graphic Design

  • Design all marketing assets, including social media graphics, web banners, print materials, email templates, and in-store signage.
  • Ensure all visuals align with the brand's image and convey a clear, professional message.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (management, sales) to fulfill any graphic design needs across the business.

Videography & Video Editing

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content to promote products, services, events, and the company's story.
  • Oversee all aspects of video production, from conceptualizing creative ideas to final post-production.
  • Adapt video content for various platforms (YouTube, social media, website).

Errands & Logistical Support

  • Handle logistical tasks such as purchasing marketing materials, coordinating shipments, running errands, and organizing supplies for events and campaigns.
  • Serve as the point of contact with third-party vendors, ensuring timely delivery of printed materials and other marketing collateral.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Organize and execute events such as community outreach events, store opening, and in-store promotions and other on-the ground and digital activities/ events related to revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the operations team and handle aspects of event management, including booking venues, coordinating vendors, managing on-site logistics, and handling setup/tear-down
  • Promote events through social media, email campaigns, and printed materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally with hands-on experience in graphic design, video editing, and event management.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in at least one creative platform like Canva is required.
  • Experience in videography and video editing.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Hands-on experience in event planning and logistics.
  • Basic knowledge of social media management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Might require evening and weekend work as events would be planned and as needed basis

Travel required within the mainland on a frequent basis and hence Class 5 driving license is preferred for the role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
