This position is to support Dr. Arzu Sardarli, Professor of Physics and Mathematics at the First Nations University campus in Prince Albert. The class associated with the project is Introductory Statistics.
The project duties will be as follows:
- Typing 15 pages of exercises (with some tables) – approximately 7 hours
- Formatting all exercises with references – approximately 3 hours
- Preparing 300 PowerPoint Slides (copy/paste)- approximately 20 hours
Pressbook work (uploading and checking)- approximately 10 hours
Please note: The successful candidate will work remotely online. There will be no travel involved.
Position Requirements
The successful applicant will have :
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency across large volumes of text and slides.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and digital publishing platforms such as Pressbooks.
- Efficient data entry and formatting skills, including working with tables, references, and structured documents.
- Excellent time management and organization, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
- An introductory knowledge of Statistics would be an asset.
