G5 Games is a Swedish developer and publisher of mobile games played by over 250 million people worldwide. We create large-scale projects, such as Sherlock, Hidden City, and Jewels of Rome, and continuously enhance their technical foundation.

We are strengthening our team and looking for a Level Designer.

What you will work on:

  • Create and adjust game levels.
  • Improve existing game levels based on game metrics and player feedback.
  • Participate in the development of new level mechanics and their implementation.
  • Set up level balance.
  • Research competitors' games.

What We Expect:

  • Experience as a Level Designer for at least 1.5 years.
  • Good understanding of current trends in creating match-3 levels.
  • High level of playfulness in popular match-3 projects.
  • Ability to analyze and deconstruct levels and mechanics of competing games.
  • Ability to write documentation.
  • Experience with a level editor.
  • Experience with Google Sheet.

Would Be a Plus:

  • Experience in designing difficulty curves.
  • Experience in preparing tasks for levels.
  • Experience in preparing match-3 levels with various bonus systems.
  • Experience in mentoring and/or managing a design team.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical analysis and probability theory.
