TeleMammography Specialists provides personalized turnkey solutions for women's imaging interpretations. We provide interpretation services for screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound and breast MRI. We are headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia but have a remote workforce with clients across the United States.

Job Description:

Provides support to breast imaging staff to expedite the diagnostic work-up and examination of patients undergoing breast imaging procedures. Acts as the primary liaison between the Company, its radiologists, and its clients. Collects and prepares patient information for use before, during and after breast imaging procedures. Verify receipt of and transmit patients images to a radiologist workstation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enter accurate patient exam information and demographics into breast imaging software
  • Gather patient history and prior reports for radiologists from fax, Microsoft Teams and electronic healthcare record software
  • Confirm that images have been received from clients PACs
  • Route to correct radiologist workstation via variance routing software
  • Keep a record of which radiologists are reading which patients
  • Manage turnaround time for each radiologist and prioritize patients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to a very fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with standard computer software programs and proven ability to learn several new programs quickly
  • Ability to problem-solve/ think independently
  • Must have proficient typing skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Must have a high school degree or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of experience as an imaging coordinator in a diagnostic imaging department
  • Experience using PACs, EHR systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of college education

Candidates with previous experience in medical imaging department will be prioritized.
