Join to apply for the Virtual Infrastructure & Systems Administrator role at RenovoData. We are seeking a VMware Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to become an integral part of our team. This person will be responsible for implementing and maintaining computer and information networks in our hosting environment, maintaining/supporting internal infrastructure and assisting with second and third level technical support to internal team members and external customers. Responsibilities Maintain, support and improve IT systems and infrastructure which support our customers and internal operations. Examples include Administration of VMware platforms, Linux and Windows Servers (both Physical and Virtual), connected to storage network with several storage systems Monitor health of customer/tenant environments, storage and server infrastructure (both physical and virtual) Implement & manage local area networks (LAN), connecting to wide area networks (WAN) Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance Perform network modeling and analysis Participate in on-call rotation Enforce policies for standardizing systems
Qualifications
5+ years of IT systems administration experience required VMware administration experience required, vCD experience preferred Active Directory, DNS experience required Storage system experience required Basic Linux/Unix experience required Familiarity with Veeam, Zerto and other backup tools preferred Familiarity with ProxMox preferred Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks Experience configuring firewalls and VPNs Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer focused, understanding details and sense of urgency Dependability, good attendance and punctuality Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
