Position Summary: The Business Systems Administrator (BSA) is a core member of the OTECH Support Services Team. The BSA will support the evaluation of OTECH's policies, operations, tools, and procedures to help Support Services in the identification of successes as well as shortcomings or opportunities for improvement. The BSA will assist in the development and implementation of new projects at various levels of the OTECH organization, to ensure optimal operational performance and output. The BSA will be able to collect, analyze, and report on data sets, identify shortcomings or opportunities, and work with all levels of management and employees to affect change. The BSA will work with other Support Systems team members, OTECH Program and Business managers, as well as Oceaneering IT. The BSA is a hybrid position located in Hanover, MD. Duties And Responsibilities: The Business Systems Administrator will execute the following tasks: Assist in the development and implementation and routine data processing of various business systems at OTECH. Proactively monitor operations related process, tools, and other technologies to ensure OTECH compliance and optimal efficiencies. Evaluate business processes, extract and anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions which meet business needs and requirements. Participate in reviews of business processes and help develop optimization strategies. Assure effective communication within the teams, and with supporting groups, and ensure that all key information is properly disseminated among the stakeholders. Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports. Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff. Perform user acceptance testing. Update, implement, and maintain procedures. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users. Participate in process efficiencies. Support Technical Analysts in support of efforts, including but not limited to: PDMEnovia 3DX, SharePoint, Costpoint. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 0 to 2 years of practical experience in business analysis or a related field. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Moderate technical skills. Excellent documentation skills. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations. Competency in Microsoft 365 Suite. A track record of following through on commitments. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. U.S. Citizenship required. Desired: Advanced degree in related field. Work experience with US Department of Defense. Experience with Deltek Costpoint. Additional Information: This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need. We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Annualized pay rate for this position is $63,750 to $86,250.
