to learn more. All.Space is transforming satellite communications with next‑generation smart terminal technology. We’re seeking a Hardware Engineer to drive the design and implementation of advanced hardware subsystems for our next‑generation satellite antenna terminals. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role with direct impact on product architecture, design execution, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of complex hardware subsystems, balancing performance, quality, and cost. Own schematic and PCB design (Altium preferred), from concept through to production. Drive design reviews, presenting clear technical analyses and recommendations. Perform hardware bring‑up, verification, and testing in the lab; ensure compliance with safety and certification standards. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including RF, Software, Systems, and Mechanical engineering. Develop cost‑effective, manufacturable designs for applications ranging from high‑end aeronautical to consumer‑grade devices. Support product certification for CE, FCC, and military standards (MIL‑STD‑461G, MIL‑STD‑810H), working with external test facilities as needed. Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis to ensure robustness under extreme operating conditions. Collaborate with RF, antenna, and system engineering teams to optimise RF/digital co‑design for phased array terminals. Provide technical documentation and contribute to design reviews throughout the development lifecycle. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design procedures and best practices. Degree (BSc, BEng or higher) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline (Physics, etc.). 10+ years’ experience in hardware design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Strong track record in product lifecycle management and full product development. Deep expertise in complex PCB design, including RF stack‑ups and advanced interconnect technologies. Hands‑on experience with power supply design, power management circuits, and switching regulators. Experience with MIL‑STD‑461G (electromagnetic compatibility) and MIL‑STD‑810H (environmental testing). Skilled with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc.) and PCB rework. Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficient in technical documentation. Effective communicator with proven cross‑disciplinary collaboration. Skilled in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium preferred); experience driving the full hardware lifecycle: requirements, design, test, integration. Desired Skills:
Experience with high‑speed digital design (DDR, PCIe, PS‑GTR). Embedded systems hardware experience (ARM, Xilinx FPGA/SoC desirable). Familiarity with SI / PI simulation tools (HyperLynx, ANSYS HFSS, Keysight, etc.). Knowledge of regulatory, environmental, or reliability requirements (EMC, EMI, SWaP constraints). Benefits:
