We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our team in supporting and implementing enterprise-level networking solutions. This role focuses heavily on Cisco-based technologies and requires expertise in configuring routers, switches, and wireless systems in a large-scale environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong hands-on experience in both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, SD-WAN environments, and network monitoring tools. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and changes on network routers, switches, and wireless equipment as required. Implement and configure new network routers, switches, and wireless devices. Troubleshoot internetwork connectivity and wireless issues. Utilize change management and ticketing systems for documentation and issue resolution. Complete assignments and project work in a timely and high-quality manner. Follow documented processes, procedures, and policies. Provide customer support and respond to service and project requests as directed. Participate in an on-call support rotation with other team members. Perform other related duties as needed. Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience administering and configuring Cisco routers and switches. Experience with WAN/LAN environments. Solid experience in TCP/IP routing and network troubleshooting in Layer 2/3 environments. Hands-on experience with SolarWinds for network management. Ability to work effectively under limited supervision in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Cisco wireless technologies. Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms. Experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco Catalyst Center. At least 2+ years working in SD-WAN environments. Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment. Strong understanding of packet capture and analysis. Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP). Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. Understanding of current cybersecurity best practices. Certifications:
Cisco certifications highly desired (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
