Our client is a highly respected business intelligence provider for the Digital Infrastructure sector and due to recent company growth they are looking for a Head of Product Development. As Head of Product, you’ll lead the evolution of their product experience, driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of their customers. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on both big-picture vision and hands‑on execution.
Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product vision, aligning it with industry insights and internal stakeholder needs.
Gather and prioritise ideas from industry trends and internal sources, shaping use‑cases for AI‑powered products.
Foster a culture of experimentation within your team and across the organization to drive innovation.
Work closely with senior leadership team, foster a product‑led culture into the organisation.
Manage and help coordinate product development activities with their in‑house and agency team of software developers.
Collaborate with Editorial to support use‑case development for internal and external customers.
Set clear priorities aligned with customer and business needs, rallying the team to achieve objectives.
Partner with cross‑functional teams using agile methodologies to optimise product experiences.
Effectively communicate product developments and vision to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
What we are looking for
Product Development: Proven track record of building exceptional products and user experiences, with 10+ years of experience – ideally subscription‑led business intelligence platforms.
Understanding Needs: Strong ability to understand user and business needs through active listening.
Documentation: Proficient in documenting user stories, use cases, and requirements with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate product vision to teams and stakeholders.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of content‑led websites and a passion for the news and media industry.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp technical details to optimise product performance.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits
