Our Design Managers work across the project lifecycle in asset planning/strategy, concept design, outline design, and detailed design. They work in various areas within the water sector, including clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage. Our local design teams are involved in large partnership initiatives such as Hull and East Riding’s
Living with Water
partnership, award-winning projects like the
Clifton Integrated Constructed Wetland
project, along with other UK-wide opportunities. This includes Yorkshire Water's
Storm Overflow Alliance , United Utilities'
Design Development Partnership , Northumbrian Water's
Strategic Technical Partnership , and more across the UK. As a Design Manager, you will play a key role in projects to identify innovative and sustainable solutions, work collaboratively with clients, oversee technical delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will work alongside the Project Manager to deliver value and client service excellence, with access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to help you deliver leading-edge design. About You We are looking for someone passionate about solving engineering problems, capable of leading and inspiring teams, and confident to drive challenging solutions. To be considered, you should have a degree in engineering (or equivalent), ideally be chartered or a member of a relevant engineering institution such as ICE. Support can be provided to achieve this if needed.
