We are currently seeking Software Engineers to support the Joint Project Office Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JPO JLTV) Product Manager Systems Integration at the Detroit Arsenal, Warren, MI. Candidates will support new and existing software projects within current and new vehicle platforms, managing Government furnished and Vectronics-based software packages. Responsibilities include evaluating delivered Technical Data Packages, identifying software gaps, and strategizing for future in-house use. You will review source code, maintain software configurations, and prioritize efforts across software development, maintenance, and hosting JPO JLTV Systems Engineering, as well as PdM Systems Integration. Qualified candidates will have experience with:
Software development and verification Software development processes including requirements, implementation, testing, release, configuration, change management, and sustainment Current software languages and development processes Vehicle/truck development processes Vehicular multiplex buses (J1939/CAN) or standard computing interfaces (Ethernet, serial, USB) Effectively working in cross-functional teams Strong communication skills Additional desired experience includes:
Code writing and development with build environments Fielded or production software release experience Software or Hardware in the Loop (SIL or HIL) development Reverse engineering (hardware/software) Rapid prototyping with software/hardware systems (Matlab Simulink, dSpace, etc.) Experience with C5ISR/EW systems, GPS, PNT Virtualization and hypervisor technologies Vehicle electrification Embedded ECU development Ethernet network routing and management Cybersecurity design Windows, Linux, RTOS experience Software acquisition processes Self-management and critical thinking skills Education and experience requirements:
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields; graduate degrees preferred Experience with object-oriented application development 5-8+ years in software development and electronics, particularly in vehicle electronics or military systems Experience with Software-in-the-Loop or Hardware-in-the-Loop labs is a plus Additional requirements:
U.S. Citizenship Duty station at Detroit Arsenal Ability to obtain a final secret security clearance; inability to do so disqualifies candidates About Torch Technologies
