The Quality Assurance Officer role is an office-based role, working with multiple departments including Production, Operations and Warehousing. This exciting opportunity would be well suited to a Pharmaceutical QA professional who wants to develop their experience into other product types and markets. Role / Description Internal auditing of the production facilities to ensure regulatory compliance Respond to customer queries promptly, with timely completion of required documentation such as customer questionnaires Handle customer complaints, ensuring effective management through to completion Maintain and update product specifications for new and existing products Conduct supplier assurance and risk assessment evaluations Infrequent travel to supplier sites globally (realistically a maximum of 5 times a year) Liaise with multiple internal departments to translate complex information succinctly Support with external regulatory audits (e.g. MHRA) Other quality assurance tasks as required to support the team. Requirements Recent direct experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, in either a manufacturer or pharmaceutical excipients distributor Proven recent experience leading or supporting MHRA audits, with excellent knowledge of GMP and/or GDP regulations Degree-level qualified (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Science or a closely related subject An obvious passion for pharmaceutical science and/or the wider pharmaceutical industry Excellent communication skills, possessing the ability to translate complex information Organised and process-driven with high attention to detail Full, clean UK driving licence.
