About the Role
The product manager is responsible for leading the product development lifecycle from ideation to authentic use. This individual contributor role serves as a mentor to other product owners, providing guidance and support in leading product outcomes. By collaborating with the customer and stakeholders, the product manager focuses on delivering value-dense, customer-focused solutions. This role is customer-focused and ensures alignment with company goals. This role translates complex business and technology requirements into viable and feasible product outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategically manage products throughout the product life cycle.
Leads with vision when collaborating with leaders, stakeholders, product owners, engineers and designers.
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; align them to the customer's needs and the company's goals.
Translate business and technology requirements, and customer feedback into clear product specifications (well-articulated epics and features).
Create engaging artifacts and effectively use storytelling to communicate the big picture to stakeholders and clients.
Lead teams through complexity, demonstrating composure through challenging and uncertain conditions.
Lead product management practices and mentor other product professionals; lead by example on how to balance critical thinking with technology tools.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high quality products and product features, including release management.
Monitor product performance using analytics and customer feedback to iterate and improve.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, and accessibility and data security standards.
Grow and evolve your skills with a focus on continuous learning.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
5-7 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or financial services
Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle.
Familiarity with payment systems, lending platforms or digital banking.
Strong understanding of systems thinking and the Lean Startup methodology; excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to make tradeoffs in the face of scarcity.
Experience with data analytics tools
Understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centric design.

Work Environment
