About
-Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients and answer questions about medications and over-the-counter products
- Enter and update patient information into the pharmacy's database- Process prescriptions and verify patient information for accuracy
- Prepare and label medications, ensuring correct dosage and packaging- Help manage pharmacy inventory by ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Assist with third-party billing and insurance claims processing- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems (preferred)
- Basic math skills for calculating doses and handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.91 - $21.28 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
