As a *Mechanical Engineer,* you will support the design and development of mechanical components and systems used in our advanced electronic control modules, on/off road vehicle displays, and telematics. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Responsible for the design and development of mechanical enclosures and assemblies for complex electronic products deployed in rugged environments.
· Author and design to mechanical requirements based on system-level requirements.
· Create and revise 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
· Create Bills of Material (BOM) assembly drawings for procurement and manufacturing.
· Conduct thermal, vibration, and mechanical stress analyses.
· Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure mechanical designs meet system requirements.
· Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
· Document design specifications, test results, and engineering changes.
· Conduct and participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Other duties as assigned by the Lead or Manager.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
*Education: *Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
*Experience and/or Training:*
· 0 to 3 years of full-time experience in a Mechanical Engineer capacity
· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Thermal analysis
o Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
o Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Exposure to design and manufacture of plastic injection molded components.
· Exposure to advanced manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
· Internship, co-op, or full-time experience in a related field.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
