*Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories, vital signs, and dental terminology accurately.
* Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
* Assist the dentist with chairside procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
* Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Utilize EMR systems for documentation review and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Operate medical imaging equipment as needed for diagnostic purposes.
* Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry and pediatric settings.
* Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices.
*Experience*
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
* Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred.
* Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
* Experience with chairside assisting, patient care, patient assessment, and documentation review is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 β 40 per week
