The Mission
We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our growing Cloud Architecture & Engineering practice. The right candidate is someone who is technically strong, experienced in managing a team of Architects and Engineers, capable of overseeing delivery engagements, and passionate about working with our customers, partners, and employees to drive the business forward.
Your Assignment
- Manage a team of 5-8 cloud engineers and architects.
- Define and communicate the value of technical solutions through structured
documentation, value charters, and roadmaps. - Take on hands-on technical responsibilities, including technical tasks during sprints.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and guide solution direction.
- Handle code reviews and pull request management to ensure code quality.
- Manage task assignments within sprints and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide guidance on roadmap planning, best practices, and risk identification.
- Mentor team members within projects, sharing feedback and supporting growth
opportunities. - Serve as the point of technical escalation for client engagements.
- Kick off new projects and ensure alignment between technical delivery and business
goals. - Support pre-sales through proposal development, contract review, and client
presentations. - Conduct technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates.
- Perform 1:1s and support the career growth of your direct reports.
- Navigate customer and team challenges with strong conflict resolution and leadership
skills.

Technical Qualifications
- Deep experience in hands-on technical roles and working with AWS.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Naturally curious and committed to continuous learning.

Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $202,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance.
This role may require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs.
