About
Scope of work:
- Providing daily support for existing Informatica workloads, including issue resolution and troubleshooting
- Designing, building, and maintaining new Informatica workflows based on business requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and sharing best practices for optimal platform use
- Assisting with platform administration, performance tuning, and standards definition
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure Informatica solutions meet evolving data integration needs
At Client's sole discretion the services may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and/or deliverables, as and when directed by the client:
- Supporting, troubleshooting, tuning performance, and fix existing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) solutions.
- Tracing dataflows from source to target systems for both current and future solutions.
- Analyzing solution requirements, including source data, target systems, and necessary transformations.
- Creating, updating, documenting, and scheduling ETL workflows.
- Collaborating with the team to define information architecture and promote consistent, secure, and reusable design practices.
- Reviewing and interpreting relational and dimensional data models.
- Developing ETL processes for data warehouse environments (inbound and outbound).
- Leveraging modern data management techniques, including integration with data lakes, data lakehouse, and cloud-native architectures to support scalable, flexible, and efficient data solutions.
Qualification
Key Qualifications:
- Informatica Cloud Data Integration Developer, Professional Certification
- Informatica Cloud Application Integration Developer, Professional Certification
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Informatica development, with relevant certification.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining Informatica ETL solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with design, development, and deployment of Informatica solutions.
- Extensive experience with data warehousing best practices.
- Experience in the insurance sector is considered an asset.
Skills:
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance Associate Certification
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance Practitioner Certification
- Informatica PowerCenter Modernization Associate Certification
- Informatica PowerCenter Modernization Practitioner Certification
- Proficient in relational database design, development, and optimization, including SQL, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
- Proficient in data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling, including design, development, and optimization.
- Proficient in data management techniques, including integration with data lakes, data lakehouse, and cloud-native architectures.
- Skilled in analyzing business and technical requirements and producing high- and low-level design documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities within established deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean principles.
- Working knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Target End:
Normal Business Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (CT) (8 billable hours per day).
