THIS IS A 100% WORK-FROM-OFFICE POSITION. WE WILL REQUIRE OVERTIME WHEN REQUIRED. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A 4-YEAR UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING FROM A CANADIAN UNIVERSITY OR HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A CANADIAN CPA FIRM. MUST BE A FLUENT ENGLISH SPEAKER . If you have no experience, you must include a copy of your transcripts.
We are seeking a Junior to Senior level Auditor/Accountant to join our team. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, enjoy a deep commitment to individual client service, and be willing to take on a variety of challenging duties.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Audit (Condominiums), Review, and Compilation engagements
- Have good financial and qualitative analysis skills
- Preparation of T1 (Personal tax), T2 (Corporate tax), T4, T5, T3010, and HST filings
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Reporting to supervisor and/or partner.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of Canadian GAAP, GAAS, and tax law is required
- Fluent English skills - written and oral
- Must be able to come to work. Prefer you have a driver's license and vehicle
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word. Knowledge of Caseware is beneficial
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
