Class 1/AZ Prairie Regional Driver

Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time This Company position runs Sunday to Thursday with a 2200 start time. This position will include running primarily AB/SK Regional freight. The hours of work might change from time-to-time to support operational demands and requires flexibility to start between 2000 to 12:00AM as required.

• Freight and destinations might vary as required by Operations
• Required to operate from Edmonton to Saskatoon to Edmonton to cover customer freight as required
• When running Edmonton to Saskatoon to Edmonton, must arrive at customer by 2030 to ensure a smooth and timely departure at 2200
• Regional work will be required
• Additional work might be available upon request
• Approximately 2,500 miles per a week

Candidate Profile:

• Company Driver with 24-months tractor trailer experience
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
• Reefer experience is an asset
• Must be flexible to start 1-2 hours early or later as required
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
• CP Rail experience is an asset
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
