About
How will you help us make an impact?
Clariti is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support Mid-Market customers on Clariti Launch. You'll be the bridge between product engineering and operations—owning the infrastructure, reliability, and security posture that power our mission-critical government technology. This is not about following an existing playbook — you'll be rewriting it to make us better. You'll have the chance to define how DevOps is practiced at Clariti, bringing your own expertise to set standards, shape our platform, and enable the whole company to move faster and safer. If you're excited by the idea of building the foundation and seeing your decisions directly influence how we ship and scale, this is the role for you.
As a X at Clariti, you'll get to :
- Design and operate secure, scalable AWS environments using Terraform and Kubernetes, putting the guardrails in place that keep our platform resilient and safe.
- Partner with product teams to define what reliability means for Clariti — setting SLOs/SLIs, building runbooks, and establishing observability that gives everyone confidence in production.
- Standardize CI/CD and infrastructure automation, eliminating manual toil.
- Develop tooling, services, and integrations that improve developer productivity, operational workflows, or customer onboarding
- Ensure security-first practices across the SDLC, from IAM to secrets management and compliance readiness
- Keep PostgreSQL running smoothly and reliably — ensuring availability, performance, and durability for customer-critical data.
- Write automation and contribute to software that strengthens the platform.
What do you bring to the team?
- 5 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure production systems
- You care about what you make and how you make it. You take responsibility, unblock yourself and others, and see problems through to resolution.
- You like being able to contribute to the code you are deploying, and are equally comfortable debugging a live incident as you are designing the automation to prevent the next one.
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Solid PostgreSQL administration in production environments.
- Familiar with SOC 2 and the realities of day-to-day controls, vendor reviews, and security expectations in regulated industries.
- Practical understanding of identity and access, secrets management, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
- Build the telemetry and monitoring to ensure SLO/SLI, create runbooks, and practicing good incident management hygiene.
- Experience with Git-based CI/CD, container build systems, backend development languages and scripting.
Bonus Points
- Experience in highly-regulated environments such as healthcare or govtech; familiarity with one or more compliance frameworks (SOC 2, FedRAMP, CJIS, CE , HITRUST, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27xxxx, etc)
- Experience with service meshes, cluster autoscalers, and cost-visibility tooling.
- Background in infrastructure policy-as-code (e.g., OPA), workload identity, or multi-region failover.
- Experience tuning Postgres at scale (query plans, indexes, extensions).
What's in it for you?
We invest in and empower our team members with competitive compensation packages, well deserved time off and benefits to keep you and your family healthy *
The base salary range for this role is expected to be between $100, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications while considering internal pay equity and our broader pay philosophy.
