About
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage during maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP passionate about working with children and eager to make a difference in their communication and social skills development.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language skills for children receiving ABA therapy.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, social skills, articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
* Use evidence-based interventions to complement ABA therapy strategies.
* Collaborate with behavior analysts, parents, and interdisciplinary team members to create a coordinated approach to therapy.
* Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions in clinical or home settings.
* Regularly track, document, and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress toward established goals.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
* Educate and support parents and caregivers with at-home carryover strategies to enhance communication skills in daily activities.
* Maintain accurate and compliant therapy notes and reports, adhering to HIPAA and clinic policies.
* Provide counseling and guidance to parents to foster understanding and involvement in their child’s therapy.
*Requirements:*
* Current New Jersey SLP license and ASHA certification.
* At least 3 years of pediatric experience, preferably working with children with ASD and developmental disabilities.
* Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers.
* Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
