Security Software Engineer - Apple Services Engineering

Working as part of an extraordinary team, you will spend your time researching and developing Apple's security technologies. Your focus will be on creative content and crafting techniques to protect a variety of assets on user devices efficiently. Passionate about cryptography, you will use a wide range of mathematical concepts combined with software implementation and optimization. You will have hands-on experience with cutting-edge products early in their development, exploring software vulnerabilities, consumer expectations, and behaviors in this field. Collaboration with the Red Team and colleagues globally to securely distribute content to millions of devices is a key aspect of this role. If you have a strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Python, and shell scripting, along with a background in Computer Science or Mathematics with a focus on Cryptography, we would love to hear from you.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and their implementation
• Proficiency in more than one programming language, including C, C++, Python, and shell scripting
• Fluent in English (French not required)
• MSc in Computer Science or Mathematics with a major in Cryptography or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in compilers and obfuscation techniques
• Interest in machine learning and familiarity with ML languages
• PhD or equivalent in Cryptography desirable
