This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the Seattle office - candidates must be located in the greater Seattle area. Think you have what it takes to be a collaborative, forward-thinking Grange team member? Below is a snapshot of what you’d be responsible for: Leading a diverse team of .NET engineers, business analysts, and testers to design, develop, and support company-wide IT solutions built on the Microsoft Full Stack. Overseeing the development and maintenance of mission-critical .NET-based web applications used by policyholders, agents, and business partners. Collaborating with business partners to analyze complex challenges and deliver IT solutions, including architecture, design, and implementation. Monitoring and improving production jobs, system health, and overall system availability, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Driving continuous process improvements through effective communication and solution development with business partners. Defining and executing strategic goals for the organization’s software systems while evaluating and recommending changes to align with evolving business needs. What we are looking for in a new team member: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development. 5+ years of experience as a .NET software developer, with at least 3 years leading engineering teams. 2+ years of experience in designing and architecting scalable, high-performance software solutions. In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational management. Proven track record of managing and prioritizing the delivery of programs and products in an agile environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and motivating team members to reach their full potential.
