Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen tools, dishes, and food preparation areas. You will assist with basic food prep and help maintain a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and waste disposal areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
- Ensure dishwashing area is clean and organized at all times.
- Unload and store deliveries; rotate stock and organize storage areas.
- Take out garbage and recycling; clean garbage bins as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Support kitchen staff with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.85-$19.00 per hour
