Singulier is looking for an experienced Data & Insights Senior Manager expert to lead the data and insights operations team. This is a rare opportunity to use your data skills in a role to rapidly grow in a profitable company.

Who We Are

Singulier provides strategic and transformation support for private equity/investment funds and established companies. We collaborate with our clients to establish task forces that can perform strategic digital operations resulting in rapid and sustainable impact. We create meaningful value by leveraging our deep expertise in digital, data, and technology to serve forward-thinking ventures.

Our diverse team of approximately 80 professionals based in London, Paris & Munich is divided into two groups: technical experts (including data engineers, digital media experts, and UX experts), and digital strategy consultants. Our members are graduates of the best business and engineering schools and possess extensive experience in the field. Founded in 2017, we have grown rapidly and are currently expanding to Germany.

Location: Paris (must be in the office 3-4 days per week with the possibility of working remotely)

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities

The Data & Insights Manager role will report to the Data & Insights Expert Partner:

Key Missions

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage data analytics projects with a specific focus on customer insights, ensuring alignment with client needs and delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to analyze customer data, identify key trends, and generate insights that drive informed business decisions.
  • Advanced Analytics: Lead advanced data analytics projects leveraging the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence (e.g., predictive scoring and segmentations, optimization models).
  • Market Research: Lead customer and market research studies including qualitative and quantitative surveys, social listening, keyword analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, digital media experts, UX experts, and digital strategy consultants, to create and deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, enhancing decision-making processes.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Internal Analytics Product Development: Aside from client cases, the Analytics Team also has a pivotal role in building our proprietary data analytics tool “Holis”. We are ideally fit to identify opportunities for scale and iterate with the Tech team to build our internal assets. Our team carries the voice of our customers and helps to guarantee that what we build has value for our business. Therefore, this is a highly entrepreneurial, multi-skilled team with a lot of possibilities for learning and growth.

Internal Responsibilities:

  • Subject Expert: Serve as the internal go-to expert on data analytics and customer insights, providing guidance and support to other consultants and team members across the organization.
  • Offer Definition: Define and continuously improve our Data Analytics offer(s), including pitch deck, methodology, and relevant marketing materials.
  • Product Development: Closely contribute to the development of Holis, Singulier’s data insight platform dedicated to investment firms.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars to share your expertise in data analytics and customer insights with the broader team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, such as white papers, case studies, and blog posts, to position Singulier as a leader in data-driven customer insights.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior consultants, helping them to develop their skills in data analytics and project management, and guiding their career development within the firm.
  • Management: You will be the line manager to 3+ data analysts.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay in touch with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in data analytics, and proactively introduce new ideas and best practices to improve the firm’s capabilities and client offerings.
  • Internal Projects: Lead or participate in internal projects aimed at enhancing the firm’s data analytics services, such as developing new methodologies, improving data infrastructure, or exploring new technologies.

Qualifications:

You have 7+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Customer analytics Strategy or strategy consulting specialized in data topics and are a seasoned manager.

You have both data and business analytics skills.

You have a structured mindset, great problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.

You master data analytics tools/languages: SQL, Python, etc.

You have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Fluent in both French and English.
