How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW at Air Liquide?
As part of Air Liquide Digital & IT ecosystem and its Digital Factories, the Product Design team (user researchers, service designers, UX designers, software engineers, and Digital producers) aims to understand, design, and develop user-centric digital solutions to accelerate value creation of transformative initiatives through product-centric and data-driven approaches.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Research and synthesis: You will formulate user-centric and research-based insights and actionable recommendations to support our partners’ decision-making process and guide design teams. This position requires a strong interest in qualitative research approaches (ex: Behavioral personas, journey analysis).
  2. Target Experience Definition: Based on research findings, you will define target experiences that take into account the needs, motivations, and aspirations of the concerned users and solution providers (ex: user journey, service blueprint). You will be responsible for conceptualizing and defining concepts of digital products and services to ensure engagement from users and stakeholders (ex: product and service definition workshop, user story definition).
  3. Visual Thinking: You will embody findings and recommendations through visual artifacts in order to engage and align internal partners towards a shared vision with various visualization techniques (ex: concept modelisation, stakeholder mapping).
  4. Project lead: You will lead multiple strategic projects and initiatives with a high level of autonomy while guiding junior practitioners and managing stakeholders in order to ensure optimal delivery.
  5. Business Design: You will support the definition of the strategic business challenges and figuring out how to create, deliver, and capture values with evidence-based approaches (ex: value proposition, value mapping).

Are you a MATCH?

  • Master degree in Design (Strategic Design, User research, Service Design, Interaction Design), Humanities, Innovation Management or a related academic field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in corporate environments, consulting, agencies, or startups with direct interactions with clients and internal business partners.

Technical Skills:

  • You can conduct rigorous user research and define actionable insights.
  • You have the ability to create targeted experiences that are based on user-centered and business-focused concepts.
  • You are able to model engaging visual artifacts (use of Figma and Adobe).

Interpersonal Skills:

  • You have the ability to confidently lead multiple projects and manage stakeholders in international contexts.
  • You possess a growth mindset, as you need to see challenges as opportunities and help drive a positive culture. You are solution-oriented and a team player.
  • You demonstrate good communication and synthesis skills.

Languages:

  • English: fluent, written and spoken.
  • French: fluent, written and spoken.
