Senior Software Engineer – Life Science (d/f/m)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement, optimize, and maintain innovative microscope control applications in C# / WPF.
  • Analyze customer requirements and design scalable and reliable state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Continuously improve software quality and reliability by using modern tools and practices.
  • Prepare software requirements, specifications, and architectural documentation in accordance with the company's quality standards.
  • Become an active part of a cross functional project team and closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a technical or scientific degree alongside numerous years of experience in software development.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of .Net, C#, WPF when developing applications for complex scientific instruments; additional knowledge of Python or C/C++ would be beneficial.
  • You have a very good understanding of modern software design and development methodologies and tools.
  • You are customer oriented, possess good communication skills and a good understanding of the scientific community.
  • You are fluent in English.
