Job’s mission

• Be accountable at global level for SCM operational excellence Business Analytics deployment, ensuring that Santen operational processes, governance and systems support the company objectives and performance.
• Drive the development of strong governance and metrics, ensuring that all relevant Santen functions, both SCM and others (QA, Finance, Manufacturing, DIT…) at global and regional level are duly integrated and participate as required. Ensure that Santen technical capabilities in supply chain processes are matching business needs and allow Santen to measure performance of key processes.
• Design and drive Global SCM Dashboard reporting, including deploying roadmap for enhancements. This includes Global IBP reporting activities.
• Work closely with DIT to ensure meaningful and result-oriented Digitalization of supply chain processes, with the relevant process integration and automation, supported by fit-for-purpose software tools. Leverage systems use for Global Performance and optimization with integration across regions and functions.
• Be part of the Global SCM Operational Excellence team, working closely with the Head of Global SCM Operational Excellence, Regional SCM teams and all other SCM Operational team members, taking an active role in ensuring Data integrity, quality and compliance within SCM in close collaboration with DIT, and contributing to building Supply Chain Excellence for Santen.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Develop a forward-looking strategy for Digital and automation in alignment with business requirements.
• Actively search for, and assess, emerging technologies while also identifying opportunities to optimize mature technologies.
• Facilitate info sharing within both Supply Chain & DIT to foster collaboration & decision making.
• Review technical potential to deliver business benefit while assessing any potential risk for the execution (e.g., technical feasibility, resource, budget, ROI, competitor’s activities...).
• Drive internally and externally prototyping to confirm technology value at early phases, while assessing technology readiness in line with business needs.
• Create and maintain a technology network with internal and external partners.
• Establish mechanisms to capture user feedback and measure user satisfaction.
• Develop initiatives to enhance systems user experience.
• Design, align, develop and report Global SCM Scorecard, KPI Dashboard and Global IBP while collecting, interpreting, and analyzing complex data sets related to SCM operations.
• Develop, implement and maintain analytics strategies as well as data governance, to enhance continuous improvement opportunities in process or system to move to Digitalization.
• With a dotted line reporting matrix, lead Regional Business Analytics teams while ensuring new systems or technology adoption and associated performance measurements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain E2E operations management, with strong business process expertise, preferably in Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Industry.
• 8+ years of experience in electronics technology and/or software within the Pharma industry.
• Proven Business Analysis skills, including advanced technical and IT skills of SAP, SAP BW, SAC Analytics, Power BI (please list your skills in your resume).
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in an economics, Business, Supply Chain or life science subject required.
• Continuous improvement and/or Lean process management (by certification or experience).
• Proven record in developing digitalization strategies.
• Proven record in collaborating and engaging with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders.
• Robust knowledge of ERP’s system technical dimensions and transactional management.
• Fully familiarized with KPI’s and Metrics definition, implementation, and management, including associated action plan and management of continuous improvement methods.
• English written and spoken. Any other European language, as well as Japanese, is an asset.
