Cloud Engineer

For one of the main banking clients based in Zurich, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. You will work with the DevOps Squads on the internal structure.

Responsibilities:

You will undertake infrastructure builds to specification, be responsible for incident response and remediation for infrastructure incidents, and carry out maintenance activities such as patching and technical application upgrades to the infrastructure estate and cloud-hosted systems.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
2. Expertise in AWS (with Azure experience being an added advantage)
3. Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
4. Solid DevOps experience, including CI/CD, automation, and containerization
5. Good experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
6. Experience with security best practices and governance in the cloud
7. Background in Linux/Unix administration
8. Proficiency with Python and/or Bash

Language Skills:
- English is required
- Italian skills are a plus
