We're looking for a versatile
Art Director / Graphic Designer
to join our small but mighty creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the
startup world
, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is passionate about building emerging
CPG brands
—from healthy snacks and beverages to functional energy bars and drinks.
This is a
part-time role
with the potential to grow into a full-time position as our portfolio of brands continues to scale.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Creative Director to
develop and execute brand campaigns
across digital, print, packaging, and social.
- Own design execution across a variety of touchpoints—
brand identity, packaging, social media content, e-commerce assets, pitch decks, and more
.
- Create
content for Amazon and Shopify platforms
, optimizing assets for e-commerce success.
- Collaborate on
social media campaigns
: content design, storytelling, and creative formats for Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.
- Edit and produce
short-form video and motion content
for social platforms (TikTok, IG Reels) and digital ads—both
in-platform and in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
.
- Deliver
3D renders and animations
using Adobe Dimension and After Effects.
- Experiment with
AI tools
(ChatGPT, MidJourney, etc.) to concept and refine creative ideas, visuals, and content.
- Be a
proactive problem solver
—anticipating needs, suggesting ideas, and moving projects forward without needing constant direction.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional design experience
(agency, in-house, or freelance).
- Located in Louisville, Kentucky, or nearby.
- Strong portfolio showing a mix of
brand identity, packaging, campaign, and digital work
.
- Proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dimension).
- Experience with
video editing and motion design
(Premiere Pro, After Effects, or native social editing tools).
- Working knowledge of
Shopify, Amazon, and e-commerce design
(a plus, not required).
- Understanding of
social media platforms
and what creative works best for each.
- Curiosity and ability to
leverage AI tools
(ChatGPT, MidJourney, etc.) for concepting and content creation.
- Strong communication skills—you can share ideas clearly, take feedback, and collaborate with a small remote team.
- Ability to
manage multiple projects at once
, stay organized, and deliver on deadlines.
- Passion for
CPG brands
—snacks, beverages, wellness—and excitement about helping small brands grow into something big.
- A love for learning: if you don't know something, you're eager to figure it out.
