Video Editor/designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a diverse skill set in video production and post-production. With Nugenre Pictures we are working to shatter the mold and change the way people view visual art. Shattering the mold by starting out wit new ideas, new forms of art, fictional and non-fictional projects. Eventually graduating to a more grander scale, we do this on how we can create original and fresh material through audio and video. Bring people from all over the world through our content. And we would love for YOU to join our team. We would like to start out on a 20% commission per video agreement and later through success we'd like to bring on an editor full-time. We have equipment at our home office if our future editor need equipment. We use Adobe editing tools but other editing services are welcomed. We use Microphones and Lavalier mics, along side 3 cameras, which include 4k resolution cameras 2 camcorders and 1 DSLR and much more equipment. With our company we are not limited to traditional; here at Nugenre Pictures we are creating a unique way of visual story telling and a new original way of art. Duties

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products that align with project goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with the employers of what effects are wanted/needed.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
• Create motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Conduct smooth transitions and color correction for field shooting.
• Manage video assets using content management systems and FTP for efficient workflow.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One as needed.
• Participate in filming sessions to capture high-quality footage, ensuring proper lighting and sound. As well as brain storming meetings on future project if YOU choose to stay with the company for permeant employment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, as well as Avid.
• Experience with 3D animation (Maya) and 2D animation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of videography principles including framing, composition, and lighting techniques.
• Familiarity with motion graphics design principles to enhance video projects creatively.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of photography principles is beneficial but not mandatory. Join us in creating captivating visual stories that resonate with our audience
