For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a highly qualified Near Patient Care Solution Engineer (m/f/d).

Background:
As a Solution Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Solution Development & Integration organization. Our team supports development projects for Near Patient solutions, focusing on seamless interoperability between analyzers, workflow products, and IT systems. We take pride in translating customer and business needs into high-level solution requirements, designing comprehensive architectures, and developing technically feasible design concepts. Based on a deep understanding of customer workflows, we apply robust systems engineering principles to ensure full end-to-end integration of our products.

The perfect candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of „System of Systems“ Verification & Validation. Proven experience in complex multi-System Requirements Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar education in a related field is required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Support & execution of integration with multiple systems to a final solution following Roche verification and validation guidelines
• Reviewing requirement and specification documentation to ensure clarity and testability
• Designing & executing test cases for interfaces, software, and other solution-relevant components
• Analyzing and documenting test results, reporting and managing issues including root cause analysis
• Collaborating with diverse Product Development Teams
• Understand existing requirements and expectations, and assist in identifying and shaping missing ones
• Support the creation of Solution Requirements in collaboration with the respective projects. Ensure clarity and aligned understanding of the big picture and the detailed dependencies for those engineering within complex projects
• Support the entire solution team in engineering and technical questions
• Play your part in fostering a good „solution culture“ where people from different organizations work happily together

Must Haves:
• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or Engineering related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of „System of Systems“ Verification & Validation
• Proven experience in complex multi-System Requirements Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar education in a related field
• You have broad and profound experience across the software lifecycle, familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies to ensure smooth integration
• Your technical experience enables you to collaborate with our stakeholders and strive for clarity and transparency, even on complex setups, and can establish these in local as well as external test environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German is an advantage
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions
• Attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure thorough testing
• Ability to document test cases, results, and any deviations comprehensively
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• As a plus, you gained experience in the diagnostics industry
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
