Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Trailer/Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, inventory management, and customer satisfaction at our mobile microwarehouses. This role is essential to ensuring smooth store functionality, meeting customer needs, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

  • Days: Weekends will be required. Two full days off per week provided.
  • Shift Timing: Shifts will vary, but this position will primarily work 11am - 8pm. This is a salaried positions and shifts may vary and/or be longer if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations:

  • Supervise all trailer operations while on location, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.
  • Oversee daily activities to ensure workflows are efficient, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize delays.

Order Management:

  • Verify that all outgoing orders are accurately packed and labeled before dispatch, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage all inventory for assigned trailers/stores, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Place replenishment purchase orders to restock trailers and ensure product availability.

Customer Focus:

  • Understand customer preferences and ensure popular products are consistently available.
  • Build strong customer relationships to better anticipate their needs and preferences.

Customer Service:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, actively seeking feedback to improve service and operational processes.
  • Create a compelling experience for customers by engaging and modeling appropriate customer service behaviors to associates, ensuring speed and quality of delivery and customer services exceed standards and customer expectations.

Website Management:

  • Ensure the store's website is regularly updated with accurate product listings and information.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies or update changes promptly.
  • Verify and upload new daily product variants for assigned store.

Daily Operations Oversight:

  • Monitor and adjust resources as the business dictates to support customer needs and workload demands.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in operational reporting.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory levels, purchases, and variances.

Driver Supervision / Team Coordination:

  • Lead and supervise delivery drivers, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines and efficient route planning.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to outline daily tasks, expectations, and any updates regarding operations or customer requirements.
  • Utilize the Easy Routes app to effectively route drivers for deliveries, optimizing travel times and reducing costs.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate workload, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff, providing mentorship and sharing best practices to promote team cohesion and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate, coach and develop a customer service mindset, including customer service techniques, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues.
  • Manage associate relations issues including performance management, and ensure associates follow company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within retail, grocery, or a related industry.
  • Must have a valid US drivers license.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, basic computer and technological applications.
  • Proficiency with basic math sufficient to execute tasks associated with inventory management and customer transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items. Up to 50lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to occasionally crouch, stoop, kneel and/or climb.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures including inside of refrigerated and frozen storage units.

  • This role may require working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. warehouse equipment, light traffic).
  • May be asked to perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
