UX Designer – Checkout

lastminute.com is looking for a UX designer who will help us streamline the checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a UX designer at lastminute.com, you will:

• Own the full design process, from early discovery and testing to asset delivery and consulting with engineers.
• Work with research, product, and tech to deliver products that customers love.
• Design mobile first. We’re mainly looking for someone to work on the web product, but mobile app experience is a plus.
• Be part of the Product Design team that you can rely on to share and collect feedback.
• Aim for the top. Help the team revamp the entire product from a UI/UX perspective. Help us compete with the best!
• Have solid hands-on experience as a UX designer, preferably in the checkout step in e-commerce or online travel agencies.
• Have a proven record of delivering products that customers love.
• Be passionate about solving problems that matter. You ask why, you team up with the research team, and you dig into the root causes of a problem.
• Love being a designer and aim for pixel perfection.
• Have a strong portfolio showcasing great UX and UI solutions, having worked on initiatives end to end from Product Discovery to continuous improvements.
• Exhibit humility. We want to work with people who can truly collaborate and help each other.
• Be data-driven.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.
