Software and Test Engineer (f/m/d/)

• Implement automated test software in Python to interface our sophisticated multi-sensor device
• Ensure the long-term quality and acceptance of the sensor software by implementing integration, system and acceptance tests
• Responsible for DevOps activities incl. build system, test automation, CI/CD, versioning and release management
• Support bring-up of embedded and computer systems
• Close collaboration with various other disciplines like system engineering and production
• Seek and use best practices and methodologies
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the development process

This is you

• University degree and ideally experienced in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
• Modern software development experience in Python with clean code, agile principles
• Interested in sensor systems and electronics hardware, ideally hands-on experience
• Experienced in some of the following areas: e.g. Github, Cmake, Docker, Linux, static code analysis, Hardware-in-the-loop testing, testing frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework)
• Enjoy learning new technologies and tools in the daily work
• Analytical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive attitude
• Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English and German
