Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer, you will be working closely with our founders, Lead Designer, and engineering team to craft beautiful interfaces and develop an outstanding user experience.

Working across multiple products, you will:

1. Design new user journeys, features, and products;
2. Contribute to maintaining and evolving existing applications;
3. Design and maintain the components, UI patterns, and documentation for Reedsy’s design system and component library;
4. Develop (at least some of) the front-end for your designs and collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure perfect implementation.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer and ability to implement (some of) your own designs;
2. Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch or Figma;
3. Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles;
4. A portfolio of design work;
5. Good, critical eye for detail;
6. Perfectly fluent in English, great communication skills;
7. Experience working remotely.

Bonus points

1. Experience working with fast-growing Series A – B startups;
2. Experience with Ruby on Rails;
