Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented and driven, with
the ambition to grow into a Controller-type position over time.
The Role
As Bookkeeper, you'll manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate,
timely financial records.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank
reconciliations, and payroll.
● Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.
● Compare pricing between wholesalers, negotiate when possible, and order materials for
electricians in a cost-effective and timely manner.
● Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
● Prepare financial reports for management review.
● Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
● Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
● Partner with leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
● 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
● Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Wagepoint, Hubdoc,
etc.)
● Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial reporting.
● Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
● CPA designation (or working toward it) is an asset but not required.
● Strong interest in learning and advancing into a controllership/finance leadership role.
