INTERMEDIATE DESKSIDE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Our client is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Deskside Support Specialist to join their team. This role is based out of Mississauga and will involve a variety of technical responsibilities, as well as some travel to support other remote locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing excellent customer service and hands-on IT support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Windows 11 Rollout:
    Participate in and lead the deployment and migration of systems to Windows 11.
  • Improve Existing Delivery:
    Proactively identify and implement improvements to current deskside support processes and service delivery.
  • Day-to-Day Deskside Operations:
    Provide technical support for all hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution for end-users.
  • Application Installation:
    Install, configure, and update a variety of applications as required by business needs.
  • Hardware Maintenance:
    Perform hardware maintenance tasks such as changing cables, setting up new workstations, and other physical IT infrastructure tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, with specific experience in Windows 11
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a patient and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Hourly Rate: $35 - $40/hour

4 month contract to start

Fully Onsite - some travel will be required to Thunder Bay, Timmons and Hanover
