Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support the serving team by plating dishes and ensuring all orders are complete.
- Clean work areas regularly to promote a safe and sanitary environment.
Skills
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent cleaning skills with a focus on maintaining hygiene standards.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
