Content Creator – Photography & Social Media

Location:
Dartmouth, NS (Hybrid)

Contract (2-month pilot, with potential for full-time or long-term extension)

About the Role

We're seeking a creative and organized
Content Creator
to capture and produce engaging visuals that highlight our products, customers, and brand personality. This role combines hands-on photo/video production with social media content creation.

You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, shoot, and edit content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, using an established brand look while bringing fresh creative ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit photography and video content for digital platforms
  • Create consistent, on-brand visuals and short-form videos
  • Occasionally visit stores, warehouses, or client sites to film content
  • Edit, organize, and submit all deliverables via SharePoint
  • Collaborate on captions, scheduling, and post timing
  • Help define and implement a consistent LinkedIn brand voice
  • Stay updated on social trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Portfolio showing product photography or short-form video content
  • Experience editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom) or similar
  • Familiar with Canva and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint)
  • Reliable transportation for filming days
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • Someone who's
    camera comfortable
    (open to being featured in short videos)
  • Basic motion graphics or design experience
  • Experience building brand presence on LinkedIn or TikTok
  • Understanding of retail/commercial photography

Compensation & Details

  • Two-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire
  • 30 hours per week, flexible hybrid schedule
  • Company camera, gimbal, and work phone provided
  • Vacation pay (4%) included per NS Labour Standards
