Job Description

You will be joining the IT Banking Applications Platform team, whose role is to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including users, developers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure the seamless operation, integration, and enhancement of critical banking applications, while also driving automation initiatives and implementing best practices in DevOps to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call and on-site L1/L2 support for critical banking applications
  • Administer and maintain multiple banking applications, including T24, GTData, GTExchange, GTFrame, GTMatch, and Hypersuite.
  • Contribute to core banking system migrations and integrations of regulatory directives.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Configure and optimize web and application servers for performance and availability.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions for improved visibility and incident response.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, configurations, and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by advocating for and implementing automation best practices.
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field involving programming (e.g., physics, mathematics), or equivalent experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience with tools such as Github, Jenkins, ActiveBatch, ArgoCD, SonarQube etc.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, PHP, Rust, Perl, Bash or Go.
  • A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the IT technology space.

Ideally:

  • Experience in Finance and core banking softwares (T24, GTExchange, GTFrame, GTMatch….)
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with queuing systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ ..)
  • Experience with Monitoring tools (Grafana, Promotheus, Nagios and stack ELK)
