A growing sheet metal fabrication company based in the
Bensalem, PA
market is seeking a full-time employee to fill the position of Operations Manager. The Branch manager is responsible for the successful operation of the branch. Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics are met. Implement strategies to facilitate the growth and development of the branch through collaboration with the Director of New Castle Metal as well as the Executive team.

Qualifications

  • Must have can do, customer service fist attitude
  • Ability to navigate digital MRP systems
  • Experience in the architectural, construction, or design industry
  • Familiarity with CAD programs
  • Familiarity with automation and integrated machinery
  • Prior experience with sheet metal fabrication and metal roofing is a plus

MAIN JOB TASKS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Schedule daily manufacturing work, ensuring machine utilization is optimized and production deadlines are met using MRP software.
  • Manage shop floor personnel to meet individual productivity metrics.
  • Review production paperwork for accuracy prior to releasing to the shop floor
  • Oversee CNC programming team
  • Communicate with customers, colleagues, and vendors with regards to all aspects of the production workflow.
  • Check and receive inbound materials
  • Check and coordinate delivery of outbound materials
  • Maintain production standards in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy. Perform intermittent and final quality checks.
  • Complete production cycle using MRP/ERP
  • Assist is troubleshooting of machinery and coordinate external vendors/manufacturers repair teams as required.
