Our outpatient clinic is seeking a pelvic health therapist to join our team! Wings Physiotherapy, Inc welcomes you for an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, flexibile, and supportive environment. We are looking for a split position between our Rancho Cucamonga and Apple Valley locations (mileage reimbursement available).
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including taking detailed medical histories and performing physical exams.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
* Diagnose and assess a range of conditions affecting women’s health, such as pelvic pain, incontinence, and postpartum recovery.
* Incorporate techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education tailored to women's health issues.
* Provide therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and function.
* Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions, including those with a history of trauma or chronic pain.
* Work closely with other healthcare providers, including, but not limited to, gynecologists, obstetricians, urologist, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
* Physical Therapy License
* BLS certification
* Completion of at least level 1 and level 2 APTA or Herman and Wallace Pelvic courses
* Understanding of various pelvic floor disorders, including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-surgical conditions.
* Outpatient clinic experience
