Are you passionate about helping families thrive and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and youth? We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Family Support Workers.
In this rewarding role, you will work directly with families and children to provide life-skills mentoring, supervised visitations, and transportation services. Your efforts will play a crucial part in preserving family units and upholding child protection standards, while supporting positive outcomes for some of our community's most vulnerable members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport clients safely and punctually to and from appointments or visits
- Supervise family visitations in a professional and supportive manner
- Provide mentorship to clients, focused on developing specific life skills
- Complete detailed, accurate documentation and reports in a timely manner
- Ensure client safety and wellbeing at all times; intervene when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and act as a professional representative in legal and court processes as required
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (social work, human services, etc.)
- Valid driver's license
- Valid vehicle registration and insurance (minimum $1,000,000 liability)
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Clear Social Development Check and Driver's Abstract
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset

Pay: $18.50-$24.45 per hour
