Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team in Harmons. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, the Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing dishes with precision and consistency according to our restaurant's standards. This role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station at all times.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (HACCP or local equivalents).
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
  • Assist with prep work, mise en place, and inventory management.
  • Adapt to changing menus and special requests.
  • Uphold the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and equipment care.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a line cook in a high-volume or fine dining environment preferred.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent work experience is an asset.
  • Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of cooking techniques.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
