Description:
Client is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with .NET/SQL background Responsibilities:
Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into testable components. Possess a profound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ASP.NET/.NET/C# and familiarity with Microsoft-based products and technologies. Competency in MS SQL Server, including the ability to write complex SQL queries, comprehend stored procedures, and ensure data consistency. Knowledge of DB2 is preferred. Familiarity with LoadRunner for automation testing (level of expertise required). Experience with tools such as Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, and SoapUI.
QA Concepts:
Design and develop comprehensive test plans to ensure coverage of all requirements. Execute both manual and automated tests, meticulously identifying and documenting defects. Competence in black-box testing methodologies. Ability to understand process flows and define testing steps accordingly.
Communication and Reporting:
Regularly report testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Utilize JIRA or similar defect tracking tools to report issues and monitor their resolution.
Documentation and Reporting:
Organize and document detailed test scenarios, using tools such as Excel or equivalents. Ensure thorough testing of every aspect of a product or service.
Collaboration:
Emphasize open communication and collaboration within the team.
Tools:
Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint.
