Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle intake to completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. The Service Advisor plays a vital role in building customer trust, upselling additional services, and managing service transactions efficiently.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a positive rapport.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customer understanding.
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and services, including parts and labor costs.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely at the point of sale.
- Keep customers informed about vehicle status throughout the repair process.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently to maximize shop productivity.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Skills
- Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Pay: $37,440.00-$41,600.00 per year
