Corporate/Commercial Lawyer

Parlee McLaws LLP has an immediate opening in our downtown Edmonton office for an experienced and motivated mid-to senior-level lawyer to join our solicitor group working in the areas of corporate and commercial law.

The ideal candidate will have a solid corporate and commercial practice and will have the opportunity to assist other senior lawyers within a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of corporate and commercial experience
• Partial or full portable corporate and commercial practice
• Alberta Law Society – active membership that is current and in good standing
• Exercise sound judgment, manage conflicting priorities, and work collaboratively
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships
• Responsive, resourceful, practical and diplomatic problem solver
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
• While meeting all requirements is preferred, applicants with a similar set of skills and experience may also be considered
